Giving is very much up to you and between you and God.  It is up to you to decide what is appropriate for you to give, according to your means.  Giving can be money, but time and talents are even more important.  The Church family needs us all to do our part to support the mission of our Churches in Calne.  See the section on activities to find out about ways that you can give time and use talents.

Planned Giving is important because it helps to put the practicalities of the life of our Churches  on a firm foundation.  There are a number of ways that you can make regular financial contributions these are listed below.  Please remember that whatever you give is confidential between you and the Treasurer.

Gift Aid is not quite money for old rope, but for those who can Gift Aid their giving is increased by 25p in every £1.  All lthis is required is a signature on one of our declarations.  Speak to Kathryn Miller or Graham Spencer for more information.  Our Gift Aid Claim in 2015 resulted in a cheque from HMRC to the value of £18,000, of which £5,000 is attributable to donations made to the heating project.  The Gift Aid declaration to HMRC is changing from April 2016, so you will be asked to sign a new declaration in preparation for this change.

You can also give via bank transfer to Calne and Blackland Parochial Church Council.  90-01-53 a/c number 19503283

Planned Giving Envelopes

These are provided for our regular givers to put into the collection plate each Sunday.  We will supply you with a pack of envelopes, one for each week of the year.  The use of a unique reference number allows our treasurer to know who you are and to take advantage of the gift aid scheme.

Standing Order

You can instruct your bank to give to the Church on a regular weekly or montly basis.  The forms to do this are available in the Churches or by contacting our treasurer.

You can remember the Parish in your will.  Speak to the Treasurer if you require any further information about this way of giving.
